Spaces and Junk I Use

This Klopfenstein Art Table that I’m using as my watercolor station is working well. I usually use Ampersand Aquabord and sometimes paint on Strathmore 500 multimedia boards. My watercolor and gouache of choice is Schmincke. I’ve been using Windsor and Newton Series 7 and Escoda Prada Sinetico Brushes.

Painting schtuff and plaster storage under table.  Hydrocal and Sculptamold  have been working well for me. I got tired of buying the small quantities of Hydrocal from Blick, so I finally ordered a 50 lb bag from US Gypsum.

Table for sculpture schtuff, especially plaster.

Temporary table for the blanket project.

Working Outdoors Today

I was practicing working with granite today, but it is just too hot to wear PPE in this heat.
Working with wood was a much better way to go. This piece will be a simple Viking head in
Basswood. I’ve done these before, and it’s a fun project. I’ve never done one this large
before. In the future I’d like to do one in granite.
