Atelier Luteiventris and Låvestudioet at Lillehager: the ongoing move into new spaces continues.

Låvestudioet has three nice spaces— the ground floor rooms will be used for dusty dirty fun, and the loft will be used for printing and storage.

One room downstairs will be dedicated to oil painting and fabrication of wood, metal, plaster, etc. The other side will be for clay.

Lots left to move and to get organized.

New Atelier Luteiventris Creative Spaces at Lillehager in the Valley of the Red-Osier Dogwood Waters

Our new residence Lillihager has two nice creative spaces.

There’s a large open studio above the garage that Boss Nurse and I will share.

And a small barn with space for a wood, metal, etc. fabrication area and a small ceramics room.

Låvestudioet at Lillhager also has a cool loft area above for storage and more workspace. I’ll post more photos as the spaces get developed.

Decorative painting on furniture and doors.

I am now retired, and there’s lots of change ahead in the next few months. We’ve left the Puget Sound region and will be settling back in Montana in February.

I’m currently visiting the Phoenix Basin and was asked to do some informal decorative painting on an Ikea loft and some closet doors.

A quick sketch—a self-portrait—to capture my mood in my now empty western Cascadia studio.

Kaweco “Pearl Black” drawing ink in a Lamy fountain pen with Pentel water brush wash on Stillman and Birn Zeta series paper.

My hopes are high for a new space as we transition back to Montana. Fer geez! I got puppets and stuff in my head that I need to bring to life—.

LEFTIES: the two FOUNTAIN PENS I use are the Lamy Safari with LH nibs and a Pilot Custom Heritage 912 with a Waverly nib. I bought my first of many fountain pens in the early 80’s, and after decades of trying different combinations these are the ones that work for me. I use converters in my fountain pens, so I’m less limited in ink choice.

Zine character comic painting and a guest in the studio for a colab!

Bjørn joined me in the studio for a Bjørn+Luteiventris puppet colab. We built a dragon marionette. Wood body, leather for the heads, wings, tail and extremities. Acrylic paint.
