Schtuff...My Moleskine Diary

This year's book with a Post-It Note shopping list attached.

Sticky note's work well- easy access, and then I don't use valuable paper for shopping lists,&c.

I use the back envelope for coupons and such.

I do actually use the week-on-a-page calender a little bit.

I used to think Moleskine diary's had lots of wasted pages- now I just draw over the odd "information pages".

The misc. yearly planners also get used for any old weird idea or plan that might occur to me. Colored pencils help me develop the idea further.

Little Alabaster Sculpture

It was such a nice evening, that I sat outside and did some rasp work on my littlle alabaster piece.

Three "Selfies" Today

I sat at my desk and did three multi- media "self-portraits" this afternoon.

"Creepy Self Portrait"

Lyra Graphitkreide wassermalbar and Niji waterbrush on watercolor paper.

I like to wear an olde-timey Ben Davis shop coat when I work. Here I've added my daily uniform hat: a Wigens longshoreman.Oh, and to look the part of the artist I added a scarf. I'm certain I saw a real artist wear one in a documentary once.

"By My Hand"

"Art Clown Wields His 602"

Palomino Blackwing 602, Faber-Castell Polychromos color pencils, and acrylic paint on watercolor paper.

Work Space

I've been trying to develop workspaces so that I can do some sculpture. I've done some woodcarving, and have some ideas for projects in stone.
I'm doing work now in the garage on a tool stand I've adapted.

Sketch done with 53's Paper and 53's Pencil.

Tool stand being used with sandbags to support the stone.

The second stage of the sculpture workspace will be to get a shed in the backyard and develop it as a wee studio space.

I use these 53 products on my Ipad- it's a great way to quickly capture ideas on the run.

Diarama work...
